My Name is Mark Cariño but everyone calls me Dags.  Art has always been an important part of my life; since I was a kid all I wanted to do was draw, paint and create. 

When I was 13 I had the opportunity to start an internship in Get Inked Tattoo Shop in Quezon City, under the supervision of Kenneth Iwarat. This led me to gather more experiences under Elezer Orobia in Wizink Tattoo Shop and Ryan Dante in Bloodlines Tattoo Shop in Marikina City, where I worked as a Tattoo Artist for 3 years. 

At 18 years old I started my very own Tattoo Shop: Amorsolo Ink.

 

 Moving to Boracay inspired me to enhance my skills as well as broaden my horizon. I started with creating graphic art for my tattoo clients, which then led me to create logos and designs for local businesses, which expanded to painting murals and signages around the Island.
During the pandemic I had enough free time to pick up a new skill I enjoy doing, wood carving. I look forward in continuing my journey and enhancing my skills.
